There are a few really good digital art programmes out for use with the iPad. Some take quite a bit of learning and lend themselves best to media and advertising projects, accuracy being a key requirement. For pure art, where the tools made available can mimic traditional techniques, I have only found one, and I’ve used it a lot in a decorative sort of way so far.
It is the app Inspire Pro, put out by Kiwipixel.
The challenge to myself is to do a watercolour, with all the softness and diffusion expected from that medium, and the photo I have chosen to work with is called SEAVIEW. We’ll see how things go.
